Can I use NeuraView to mirror image or rotate my log image?

NeuraView can both mirror an image and rotate it 90, 180, or 270 degrees.

Yes. NeuraView can both mirror an image and rotate it 90, 180, or 270 degrees.

Images displayed in NeuraView can be rotated, flipped, and/or inverted.

  • Rotation may be needed if the image has been scanned sideways (for example, because it could not fit in the scanner at the proper orientation).
  • Images may also be flipped or mirrored left-to-right or top-to-bottom.
  • Inversion, used only on B&W images, will swap the image foreground and background colors (i.e., swap black for white and white for black).

You can perform as many of these edits on an image as needed until you achieve the desired effect.

To perform these operations, right-click anywhere in the desired window and select an option.

These commands are also available in the relevant ribbon. Some other important commands are not accessed through the right-click menu but are conveniently accessed from the Raster ribbon.
