How do I install and use a NeuraScanner on a computer?

To use the scanner on a computer do the following:

  1. Install NScan 64 or 32 bit (Depending on whether the operating system is 64 or 32 bit).
  2. Once the installation is complete make sure the scanner is off, then plug in the scanner to a wall outlet.
  3. Then plug the USB cable in both the back of the scanner and then computer in that order.
  4. Flip the switch in the back of the scanner on.
  5. Windows will detect the device and install the device drivers. (You should see a little detection icon in the notification part of the Windows bar).
  6. Once the Device drivers are installed.......Open NScan.
  7. NScan will ask for your Scanner Key Code (10 characters given at time of scanner purchase)
  8. Save the scanner key on that computer.
  9. Restart NScan and your scanner will work.

Note:

  1. If you have NeuraView with the scanner, it will not operate unless the scanner plugged in.
  2. If you unplug the scanner NeuraView will continue to work for 5 days, however you must plug it back in after that for NeuraView to continue working again.
