Why is NT1000 printing blank pages? Mark Sensor

Printer prints blank pages.  5 blank sheets fed followed by 4-blink LED Error Code

Load paper into NT1000 printer.  Power on the NT1000 printer with the jog button held down to print the status report.

The printer feeds 5 sheets, but no print appears.  4 Blinks on the LED indicate no Mark Found. The registration mark was not seen.

Now Print a Well Log to see the error again.  The printer feeds 5 blank sheets before declaring the No Mark Found error with 4 Blinks on the LED.  

Note that the 5 blank sheets represent the distance that the printer seeks for a registration mark.

Verify that paper is loaded with the registration mark facing down and to the right.

Verify sensors are clean.  Use an alcohol wipe to clean the sensors.  Try blowing out the sensors with canned air.
