What does a print with horizontal black bars down one side mean on NT1000?

If an unusual print with horizontal bars comes out of the NT1000, especially if it is only covering about half the width of the paper, it is likely the printhead needs to be reseated.

In the NT1000 sample print shown, only half the image is printed indicating the printhead cable is not completely attached.  The error state is depicted with horizontal bars.

SOLUTION:  Open the printhead casing and reseat the cable.  A Phillips screwdriver is required.  Please see instructions for Replacing the NT1000 Printhead.
